Skatastaðir in Vesturdalur

Backblip

I'm on a weekend-trip with ÁLFkonur, my photography club.
Today we drove to Varmahlíð, Skagafjörður and then all the way to farm Skatastaðir in Vesturdalur, one of the most remote places in Iceland. 
My husband was here during a few of his summer vacations when he was growing up. The farm is now deserted (in 1989), although the house is used occasionally by some family members as a summer vacation cottage.
