Exeter
Ian had an early massage booked at Dart’s Farm so I got him to drop me off in Exeter so I could shop for a few bits. Now close your ears if you hate the C word, but I managed to buy lots of little goodies for Leo and Bobbie’s Christmas stockings. I also picked up a nice oilcloth Christmas tablecloth.
With any luck that will mean I shop for everything else online and save any more shopping trauma. It was fine when I was in early but by the time Ian joined me after his massage, the place was heaving and it was a real pain getting around. We wandered past this rather lovely looking little library in the shopping centre.
We had a nice lunch in the Botanist before we headed home. I had a lovely Buddha bowl full of all sorts. It had green chickpea falafel, harissa cauliflower, coconut rice, roasted red and yellow peppers, hummus with crispy chickpeas, rocket and chicory salad, pickled red onion, and crispy shallots. It was very yummy.
I was so tired when we got home I had a nap on the sofa and then face up and went to bed about 5:30pm. I had a lovely long sleep.
