A win

We won our second match in the coupe de Roussillon 3-1. We won all the singles although they were closely fought. The doubles was also close. The best thing I can say is that my partner and I won the second set 6-1 Unfortunately, we lost the super tiebreak 10-7. It didn’t really matter as the match was already won at that point. We then sat on the terrace and had an excellent long lunch until mid afternoon. Jacqueline and Mrs TT kindly helped out. Jacqueline is in her 80s. Mrs TT once asked Jacqueline if she had ever played tennis not knowing that she used to be world champion in the over 70s category! James and Peta came down to practise later so I stayed on for a bit and joined them.
