Along the seafront.

An eerily quite late afternoon. No traffic, aircraft, factory, wind or wave noise. Only the occaisional toot of a steam whistle from the nearby heritage railway. broke the silence. Lovely.

We encountered several cormorants out fishing, and this one drying its wings.

Earlier I completed the crossword in the Sunday paper, so it hasn't been an entirely lazy day.
