Death in the Dales #2

Day 2 of the crime book festival in Sedbergh. A thought provoking session on historical crime novels and the research that has to be done to make them authentic with the period, accommodating the customs , beliefs and etiquette of the time but, at the same time,  making sure the book is not offensive to today's audience. 
I'd stayed the night in Sedbergh with friend A. Here we are after the festival,  where I failed in my plan to take a picture of one of the author panels , taking the scenic route back to her house through St Andrews churchyard
