Just Passing Through...

At first sight I thought this handsome bird was a Brown Thrasher. However, when I took a closer look, I realized that I had no idea what it was. This visitor to our bog is a Swainson's Thrush. They migrate an incredibly long distance, from Alaska to Central and South America. Check the *extra for its exact range. I think that this was a pretty good sighting!
