Silver birch leaves
A busy Sunday. After I'd taken the hound for his first walk on an overcast morning i tackled on overgrown and uninvited elder and honeysuckle in the back garden. I spent about on hour and cleared much of it.
Fed hound his lunch then resumed cutting in the front garden. As we're south facing I let the shrubs give us welcome shade in the summer. Now we need some winter sun and more light so it needs to be cut back. Still more to do but didn't want to put my back out again.
A second dog walk is a good antidote to my back seizing up. He's getting very good round cats these days. He ignored a ginger cat that lives with two small dogs that approached wanting attention.
Shocking that Israel demands that the UN peacekeeping force move! Such absolute arrogance! Why the USA cannot see netanyahu's (he doesn't deserve a capital letter) expansionist plan by now beggars belief.
Took hound for his second walk.
There are many silver birches on our walking circuit. Their leaves aren't all the same shape, interestingly, to me at last.
Now chilling as the temperature is dropping outside. Heating definitely on.
Stay warm, pleasant evening everyone.
