Lily the Litterer turned 5 last week

Happy belated birthday, Princess Lily! 
I too got a balloon yesterday. Mine didn't end up in the river... 

Made some time today for a few hours in my happy place. 
Ok, my other happy place, after Blipfoto. 

One is full of venerable old trees, and moss, and moisture, and organic smells of things happily growing and decomposing. 

The other is full of cats, and dogs, and sunsets, and squirrels, and meals and all those things that make us happy. All the friendly dogs, and almost friendly cats, and beautiful sunsets, and fluffly squirrels and tasty meals. 
Thank you all dear friends who stopped by yesterday, to mark yet another year in blipland.
Even MAiT came out of retirement for the occasion. Top bloke! I still half expect to see the thumbnail of a stained, discarded mattress on a damp, grey Edinburgh Monday morning.
