Basque Embassy

This is a restaurant I like but don't go to very often anymore.

A very contrasted shot because it was blazing hot outside at lunchtime and it was cooler and in the very welcome shade inside. There were people eating oustide, but they must have been mad already, so the sun can't have hurt them much more.

The three colours of the Basque flag are represented in this shot - green, red and white. Hanging are Espelette peppers, which are actually quite sweet.

I spent quite a few summers in the French Basque country when I was a teenager and have great memories of the place.
