All creatures great and small!
Church this morning, some great hymns to sing, but I couldn't help looking around or elderly congregation when it came to Psalm 90, today's psalm reading began at verse 10:
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Cheerful stuff.
Other than that, I ran our celebrant home to the High Street then did some shopping on the way back. I had time for a quick bacon sandwich before it was time to drive back across town to pick up Ali after she'd dropped their car at the garage ready for them to work on it tomorrow.
It's so much easier to drive in town now that it is less crowded. Far too many roads works, closures and diversions though, not to mention very deep potholes.
I topped up the bird feeders this afternoon, they were all empty so they must be feeling the pinch.
I made a big batch of Bolognaise which was very satisfactory, we'll have our tomorrow night.
My blip, I spotted on the altar after our service, a very well blessed, but dead, spider!
