Pony

Today we visited the natural park of Assateague, home to beautiful ocean beaches on one side, marshes on the other (bay) side, and of course, wild ponies. No one knows how the ponies ended up there a couple of centuries ago though one theory is that a boat carrying them sank and the horses were the lone survivors and swam to shore.
