Golden sands...?
Not so much this morning, despite the name of the holiday park.
However, this made little difference to Eben and Luca, as we explored the shingle beach while Ruth packed the bags. They were fascinated by the mounds of foam that had accumulated along the shore, in the gusty winds. They invented a new game, skimming pebbles through the foam, making little tunnels.
We left soon after 10, as Ruth had some MA work to finish in the afternoon. She came away with the contact details of a family with a galactosaemic daughter, who live in Sheffield. So that's great.
