Magnification of a gumnut
What an interesting sub theme for the mono Monday challenge. Photographers have several ways of magnifying. They can use a long lens; they can use a macro lens to reveal detail that the human eye can't discern; or they can crop.
At first I didn't to any of these things. I tried experimenting with a big magnifying glass and with a magnifying mirror. Nothing worked.
In the end I took a photo with my Olympus, made it mono, then photographed a detail of it using the snap function on my phone. The magnification shows the tiny veins in the leaves blown up to billio.
Thanks for hosting sk.
