Mull, Salen, boats,

The weather had improved this morning so decided to head to Salen to see the famous boats. We stopped at a delightful cafe in the village for coffee and cake, as one does. Then went to see the famous fishing boats that have become a tourist attraction.

We returned the same route, after fuelling the car, on single track road with passing places. It was one of the stages of the annual car rally the night before, and we had chatted to one of the participants who told is the drivers had taken their cars to speeds over 100mph !!! We took it at a much more sedate speed.
