Hadrian's Wall

Stiff legs, today, unsurprisingly.

The Minx set off early to get her car sorted, but Wol, Hannah, and I took it fairly easy, setting off around 10am.

As we were driving along the A69, I pointed out how close we were to Hadrian's Wall, and, as Wol had never seen it in the flesh, we stopped for an impromptu visit.

To be honest, my legs could have done without the climbing, but in the end I think it was all to the good, as my muscles seemed to free up a little. Plus, it made Wol and Hannah happy, and I always enjoy seeing the wall.

After that we set off for home, dropping Wol off at Oxenholme, and then Hannah and I headed back across to Kirkby Lonsdale for an afternoon's work followed by dinner at the Royal.
