Night market, Chiang Rai

We left Chiang Mai this morning and drove 4 hours north-east to Chiang Rai. Along the way we crossed a mountain range into the catchment of the Mekong River. Tonight we ate at the local night market, a short walk from our hotel. Tomorrow we drive for another 2 hours to the Mekong and cross into Laos.
