A review for the bikers:
The side stand is too short - getting it vertical is a struggle.
Too much Perspex from the seat - windscreen is an uninspiring design.
You are sat on it, not in it.
Feels worse to lug about - probably because the engine is seated higher in the frame )and that side stand leans it over too far.
Heated grips hidden somewhere in the menus.
Feels lighter on the move, more responsive and the quick shifter is much slicker. It's different from the 1250 but not necessarily better. It would be a darned expensive "upgrade". In essence, it feels like a sports tourer, not an adventure bike.
