Return

Today I went into work via the Roslin Institute, where I met with a new PhD student who will be working with researcher J to add the genetics background and interpretation to the article that J has written. I also had a chat with J, who is bearing up in the last few weeks of preparing their PhD thesis for submission. 

To complete my journey into work, rather than wait for a bus at the institute, I walked a couple of kilometres through the wooded Bush Estate in the beautiful crisp autumn sunshine.

In work, I was visited by a former MSc student, who chatted with me and my two new PhD students over lunch. I then had individual meetings with them, before settling down to some programming until it was time to return home.
