Times change.

       There's a group, on Facebook dedicated to "Penrith old Photos".  Recently this one flitted past; it was just at the bottom of the hill up to home.  By the time we moved in (Back end of 1987) this Shop was no more - BUT - it got me thinking of the number of small extinct Shops around town.
       Prior to where we are, we were over on Castletown.  I admit to a "Chicken memory" (It's Foul)  ;¬) but during the five other so years we were there, or not long after, I can call to mind at least four/five shops which "died".
