Autumn Wreath
I didn’t get up particularly early today. I heard TT heading off to work and in my mind I was going to get up half an hour later – it was a long half hour, but after two nights out, maybe I needed a bit of a lie in. There was plenty to be getting ion with once I did get up. Laundry, chores and a run. I delayed my run until late morning, as it was pretty chilly. By the time I went out, the sun was out and it was a lovely morning. I did the same six miles as last Sunday. It was slow and steady.
Once back home, there was more washing to hang out, then I popped down into town to buy a gift and also to pick up some lunch. It was then home for a late lunch and to pack my bag for a weekend away. The washing was mostly dry by the time I had to head off to pick up TT, so my last job of the day was to bring it in. I then packed up the car and headed off to meet TT at Newcraighall Station, before we set off to Dunblane, where we were to be based for eh weekend, with a group of good friends.
We weren’t quite the last to arrive, but the majority of our group were already there and settled in the bar. We checked in and got settled into our room before joining them for a quick pre-dinner drink. Before long we were all heading into dinner and we had a lovely evening catching up. A few of us hung around for a nightcap – but not for long.
Two new shops seem to have opened in town today – this is one of them – a new flower shop.
