Day 3 Amsterdam

Unfortunately, P had had the most terrible night feeling very poorly - so we abandoned plans to travel out of Amsterdam to an open air buildings museum and instead went to the Resistance Museum . This was in a quieter part of the city . The museum itself was fascinating but harrowing - I had no idea how much the Dutch had suffered in the War or how many had starved .
Afterwards, we had coffee adjacent to the park then went to the Hortus Botanicus . I looked around while P found a shady spot to collapse and sit .
We finished the afternoon at Amsterdam Zoo which was excellent and perfect because it was fun and there were places for P to sit . Plus we loved seeing the sloths !
We ate most of our dinners in the hotel room with takeaway salads from the supermarket as it was an enjoyable but exhausting trip !
