Grandma Duty

While David was flying to the other end of the world (Australia) to visit his dad, I was asked to spend the weekend with the grandkids while Jamie and Rachelle were away at a Church Retreat.

I can’t really call it “babysitting” as they are no longer babies and are pretty independent, but just need an adult around to drive them places and make sure they are fed. But it’s a special thing to spend some extended time with them all to myself.

This blip is of Micah, the 15yr old grandson and his friend. I had taken them shopping and are displaying a couple of their purchases- the matching fluffy slippers (which they wore outside to the park!) and the freeze dried candy!
