Pain

After spending most of the weekend mainlining Ibuprofen for toothache, I had a trip to the dentist for some root canal work, which has got to be one of the most unpleasant things there is. I've had a couple and I would say this was the second most painful - those pesky nerves just won't numb up and I was also apparently bleeding profusely out of my tooth - sorry if you're just about to have your tea! Now on a diet of painkillers, antibiotics for the infection, soup and ice-cream. And I have to go back twice more to finish off :(

In other news, they started painting the outside of the house today (this is one of the decorators preparing the front door), so I expect it will pour down the rest of the week.
