Recovery day

Energy is returning slowly, as the effects of whatever virus Richard and I caught start to ebb away. We cancelled our usual Tuesday with Simone, reluctantly; neither of us was really in a fit state to be in charge of a toddler. Fortunately this fell on a day when Marianna didn't have work booked, and she could take up the slack. I hate the feeling of letting them down, on the rare occasions when this kind of thing happens.
My main achievements today included making carrot, apple and hazelnut soup (today's rather soft and steamy image), an autumn favourite. Apart from that, I finished off some minor admin for the November Sheffield Photo Society exhibition in the Winter Garden in the city centre.
