From Dubai to London - dawn skies over Europe.

As we flew lower over southern England approaching Heathrow, the fields looked bleached almost white - the sort of view you'd expect to see in Italy, southern France or Spain after a long hot summer.

There are thunderstorms forecast for some areas of the UK tonight - exciting!
