Autumn!

When did that happen?! Almost as quickly as my eleven years! Thank you for those lovely messages and confetti. It’s a wonderful place to find myself still blipping as a habit now.

We travelled in mixed weather northbound to our stopover in Albarracín. We were hopeful that the rain would clear and sure enough we’ve enjoyed dry (and chilly!) weather for a wander of the tiny streets of this ancient town. We walked around part of the river walk to the mirador on the left before making our way through the strangely ghostly alleyways and past crooked buildings up to the old city walls for this view over the whole of the old town before heading up to the top tower where Rich had a daring walk along part of the wall.

Seeing the golden trees gave us a jolt of heading closer to home but it’s so picturesque and we’re currently enjoying the novelty of cooler weather.
