What a plonker

I had to trim the bottom of the skirting board to follow the hills and hollows of our floor.
The mistake was using a spirit level to make sure it was level before I marked and cut. What I should have done is make it level to the mouldings cos over 3.9 meters a spirit level isn’t going to be that accurate. And sure enough there’s a 6mm run between skirting and mouldings.
I’ll take it off and do it again - properly.
