Surprise!

I was surprised and delighted to spot this cheeky clematis flower blooming at the top of its support. The plant had flowered really well in the summer and I hadn’t expected any bonus flowers, and yet here it is.
I can’t remember the variety name but it’s a most beautiful blue, not as pink as it appears here.
