Penguin Droppings

This little brown job just happens to be on the 'red list' for conservation in the UK.  It is a corn bunting, Emberiza calandra.

The East Neuk of Fife is one of their last remaining strongholds in Scotland but the nearest to Kirkcaldy that I have previously seen them is about 15 miles to the east, between Lower Largo and Elie.

This individual was one of 4 feeding on weed seeds at Dysart.  I have reported it to the local recorder.
