(289) Fuel
Our wood-burning stove is one of the smaller varieties and in most deliveries of fuel we usually find a few hunks of wood that are too big to fit in the burner. Today I finally got round to tackling the job of making them fit. I can't justify the purchase of a chainsaw but the reciprocating saw does a decent enough job of trimming off a few inches here and there from the pieces that are resistant to splitting. Mrs. Rockit is doing her best to make sure that all timber trimmed so far is of suitable size and so the living room temperature is now at at 23.4 degrees! I'm overheating but the cats are very happy.
