A&E Still

Spent all night with J sat in a chair in A&E, after the triage & blood test last night we didn’t see a Dr until almost midday - 15 hours after we arrived in A&E.
When we did see the Dr (Bennet) he was a rude & abusive bully, especially nasty to my daughter who was wearing her uniform, he asked for a history but when we tried to tell him he talked over us & refused to listen - I’ve never met anyone like him & asked to see another Dr.
Shortly after what had turned into a shouting match (I don’t do conflict) J’s AHP team nurse arrived with a Dr who knew about PEG tubes, he was rude & talked over them too but eventually left them to check J out. J’s OK & back home now. I’ve told him he’ll be unconscious before I dial 999 again!
Grateful for daughters who arranged between them to drive us home so that I didn’t have to drive after having no sleep.
