AUTUMN COLOR
It's not quite peak color yet but I ventured to the shores of Little Elkhart Lake this morning to see what the colors were looking like. The wind was blowing a hoolie out of the north and it was COLD! To compound matters, the clouds covered the sun right after I arrived so the colors are not as saturated as they are when lit by strong sunlight. However, I slapped on the Singh-Ray Warming Polarizer and it made the colors pop.

I will try again tomorrow if the sun shines and the wind slows a bit. EXTRA: A couple of the houses along Lilly Bay. The reds and oranges of the sugar maples (Acer saccharum) make the scene.
