A Spartan's Mum

Beach day

Having spent the morning stocking up in the local butcher and greengrocer (both lovely and fresh) for lunch supplies and the couple of evenings we'll eat in, we decided just to take a wee run round this beautiful coastline.

This was the beach at Cushenden, taken just at lunchtime as the sun was coming out, and I'm delighted to say this is as busy as it got. We settled in for several hours, I was happy to lounge and knit however Jim is more of a pacer, so he explored the full length of the bay at a very leisurely pace.

We did wander up to the wee tearoom in the village for coffee and cake mid afternoon, so all in all a most satisfactory day.
