The new geyser is being installed, a number of tubes that will continually feed hot water to the tank. A good step in the right direction.

What was not in the right direction was Arnie’s visit to his ophthalmologist. The first part was with the woman responsible for the measurements of his eye pre surgery and the creation of the lens fitted.

We knew something was very wrong when she kept muttering to herself and tried to convince Arnie that he could see clearly.

Long story short, after an hour or so of dilation and other scans it was clear the lens had been fitted correctly by the surgeon. However, it seems the actual prescription of the lens is wrong and currently we don’t have a solution as to how it can be fixed.

Gutted just doesn’t begin to explain how we feel currently.
