That Old Chestnut
Thick fog covered the land as we set out on the school run this morning; not just on the higher ground of the Kent Downs, but into the Stour valley and Canterbury as well. A real pea-souper, as they used to say. That said, it wasn’t raining, and later when the fog had dissipated it was quite a fine, clear day. Work was brief and uneventful – just the usual Tuesday half-day – and then I was free to head home and chill. I’ve been enjoying the autumn colours that are emerging now… today’s blip was taken in the back garden; a macro image of our ‘bonsai’ horse chestnut tree that we grew from a conker Raffy brought home nearly twenty years ago.
