Theater Royal auditorium

We went to Richard O'Brien's The Kingdom of Bling tonight. At 82 he is as clever and quick witted as ever. This is his Celebration of Kindness tour and all royalties are going to the Starship Children's Hospital. 

The Edwardian styled theatre has been beautifully restored, taking 4 years. All the significant architectural elements were rescued, including the auditorium dome which was completely rebuilt made from carbon fibre using the original 1908 painted mural by Studio Carolina Izzo. It reopened in 2014.
