Eastern Angles - The Deep

A day of chores, including a visit to the Solicitors to return paperwork, sign documents and be given a list of more things to return. These include blueprints from an extension from the 1980s.  My amazing dad did some of the drawings - and I cherished the hours searching through files in our study looking for them. All but the documents re the installation of the central heating system were there - I feel sure that info is in the kitchen drawer in Maidstone.  I will plan a trip to get that next week. Call also made to the estate agent to update them and ask for the buyer to post-it-note  any furniture or appliances that will be of use.

I also phoned Colin from recommended house clearance firm (Step Toes) and arranged a valuation visit to Maidstone. Colin will value the contents. He will then quote and arrange to sell what he can and dispose of the remainder. His usual work pattern is to clear a property between Exchange and Completion. This is the emotional bit, and I plan to take it one day at a time.

The evening B and I went to the Town Hall for an Eastern Angles play. A single actor, who played a drowning fisherman. Not a particularly good photo, but taken before the play started as camera's were not permitted during the performance. Although,  I did like the picture on the wall behind - a clever coincidence. The actor was amazingly athletic and managed to hang onto the ladder (see blip) to portray his dying movements whilst expressing his emotions and life's reflections - amazing performance. The play lasted for just less than an hour, with none of the expected interval. It ended unexpectedly, with the whole audience in stunned silence. Very moving.
