Lily
We knew there was a mouse in the house but no joy in catching her
Until last night.
Here she is before being released this morning. Normally we like to take them for a little drive outside the village, but it being such a grey, wet day for her, we decided to release her in our shed so no doubt she will be back.
We catch them in the live trap then transfer them into a bigger box with some food, some water and some paper towel for cover, before releasing them.
I always think of these lines from Robert Burns
“I doubt na, whyles, but thou may thieve;
What then? poor beastie, thou maun live!
A daimen-icker in a thrave
‘S a sma’ requet;
I’ll get a blessin wi’ the lave,
An’ never miss’t!”
And I’ve added another picture of her in the extra so that the title of this track is fitting https://youtu.be/etmw8JvMO30?si=NuA0QJbUEZN7F7uz
