Parkrun at Maldon Prom

VC at Maldon Prom parkrun today. Feeling improved but not at all good. After welcoming all the volunteers, we set off. A Blue Ribbon event, so high numbers and lots walking and running in memory of a bereaved child or newborn. Made me realise how fortunate I am. 

The blip features my Gig rowing friends who decided to run parkrun today. They enjoyed it and are going to make parkrun part of their fitness routine. Pic taken by the photographer. 

After one and a half laps,  I came over light headed.  Too much after my 2 days in bed. Luckily,  A gave me much-needed water and after some tough love from C as well as an offer from the lovely M to walk with her, I managed the last lap of the lake. Parkrun people are truly amazing!

Spent the afternoon and evening resting and watching Strictly.
