Went for a hack with a friend who wanted Willow as a calm companion for her 4-year-old horse. She had had an accident with her horse a few weeks back, due to military tanks approaching them with undiminished speed from the back (because people do not have any common sense at all).

The effing shooting in the vineyards happened again, it was so loud that we nearly had a heart attack, and it is needless to say that the horses were startled badly. My friend fell off, and I nearly called an ambulance (she started to faint). Seems that she ended up "just" being badly bruised and with bleeding knees and her riding breeches ripped, but I am afraid that she in bruised inside, too. 

There are other methods to protect grapes against birds, why choose the shooting that terrifies people and animals alike?
