Official Opening Pose

The new library premises on Cape Clear Island was being opened today and Z and I got an invitation to the doings. I was involved in a lot of the early stages before retirement and Z's mum Jo was librarian on Cape Clear in the 1980s and 90s, so Z was representing Jo among a number of other previous holders of the post. 
A lucky break with the weather meant all went smoothly, our friend Geoff appeared after a while, looking for the sandwiches, showing off his taped specs and offering me a pose. A more conventional opening shot and one from the ferry in extras.
