Up the Hill
It was a little bit dry this morning, but very wet by the afternoon.
The early part of the day was spent doing things with my Mum, Sainsbury's, Waters of Leith Centre etc.
Then I had a mad gardening session, in the rain! Which I enjoyed. I felled our Crab Apple tree which wasn't thriving, planted a Spindle Tree which I had grown from seed-its over a metre tall now, and did my window boxes. Also took some beautiful compost out of the compost bin.
Later on M and I walked at Craiglockhart Pond and through the woods. We noticed that there is major work happening at the sports centre end of the pond. We felt a bit worried for the birds that live there so I hope the work is completed quickly, and is right things to be doing. I have heard some discontent about the council plans.
