Acer, not cake

Thankfully the three flourless chocolate cakes turned out to my satisfaction, with a suitable level of gooeyness. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photograph of the plated slices accompanied by a good dollop of cream. It seemed to go down well.
So, instead of cake, today’s blip is the acer in our garden. It is still holding onto its leaves and they are turning a beautiful crimson colour.
