Well, the deadlines came and kind of swooshed past. I submitted something that will have to suffice. It's been another busy and long day. The office compression has happened. Many IT people didn't take part in the recent office move. Entire floors remained mostly empty. Unsurprisingly, the space was claimed by other parts of the organisation. Each team lost 50% of their seats irrespective of the attendance. This caused some grumpiness in the teams that mostly turned up including the one I am in. We are now hot-desking. We shall see how that goes. The suspicion is that some teams will turn up on even fewer occasions. I prefer to work in the office. It's more jolly.
