The walk to the Point of San Lorenzo …

… was so arid and hot in the volcanic dust, but quite beautiful. However it had to be shared with soooo many hundreds of other tourists. I have to have a completely different mind set of this trip! From the car park you could see the full length of the lizard like presque isle (extra).

On the way to our beautiful rented house above Ponta do Sol we stopped for a swim at Machico. Just returned from dinner by the sea. No time for blipping! Sorry…
