The Busker

Street scene from my wander around Inverness. Superb nights kip again last night and slept so soundly, a solid ten hours only disturbed once by some plonkers car alarm.

Mood is high even although the weather is tragic. Drive up to Inverness was not too clever yesterday. I pulled off near Dalwhinnie for a coffee after I witnessed a near miss with a tourist in a hire car, the conditions were brutal.

On a corner of rose street he plays his songs through the wind and rain all day long
And the shoppers and tourists, walking by, hardly notice the words of his songs
His reflection in a window of a shop selling diamonds where no one goes and no one comes from
And the sound of coins landing softly in the spaces in his guitar bag
