The work on the bowls continues

One of the bowls I'm continuing to work on (I mentioned them yesterday). You can see the difference in shine after the initial burnishing and after the repeated burnishing of the piece.

The initial burnishing is done with significant effort, which helps to compact the walls of the piece and enhances its waterproofing. Additional treatment with beeswax after firing (on the hot piece) will improve its usability.

I intentionally did not make the edges of the piece perfectly even, as the customer wants to maintain a certain imperfection.
