Ablaze

A morning walk with Val along the Rivelin valley. The river's running high and fast today, after heavy rain earlier in the week. Listening to the water's rush, as we walked, felt good.
The trees are beginning to change colour too, and I really liked the look of this small, bright beech, still surrounded with largely green neighbours.
