Rediscovered in 1939
Today was LMB's primary school's Harvest Festival service held in St John's Church in Corby Glen. The wall paintings date from the 14th or 15th century and were whitewashed over during the reformation and the establishment of the Anglican Church. Happily, while layers of whitewash were being removed, the paintings were revealed in 1939. See Extra, too.
