Loch Awe

Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . to head north

A pleasant journey northwards today - through Ayrshire and then a swerve westwards to avoid Glasgow.  Over the Erskine Bridge and then the road to Loch Lomond, where we had a picnic lunch looking out over the calm waters.

After that it was more north and westwards until we reached our destination for the next couple of nights.  We really are at the end of the road looking out over Loch Awe with Ben Cruachan in the far distance on the left.  It's a most idyllic spot.

The accommodation is not bad either.  I leave you with an extra of our bathroom . . . . . . !
